Published concrete price examples
Tex-Tex Concrete publishes the following budgeting bands from its own Dallas–Fort Worth projects. The source page was checked November 2, 2026.
| Published scope | Provider’s published band |
|---|---|
| 4-inch residential flatwork: driveways, patios, walks and slabs | $6–$10 per square foot |
| Decorative and colored work, including stamped and exposed aggregate | $7–$14 per square foot |
| Demolition and haul-off | $2–$8 per square foot |
| Site grading and preparation | $1–$9 per square foot |
The installed flatwork description includes materials, labor, forming, reinforcement and finishing. These are one provider’s examples, not our prices, a Burleson market average or an offer to complete your project within a band.
Do not automatically add every row together. Ask which preparation and removal items are already included in the actual proposal. Also, the 4-inch description belongs to the pricing example; it is not a recommendation for every vehicle, garage or building slab.

Whole-project driveway example
The same provider publishes a $4,000–$9,000 two-car driveway replacement example including demolition, haul-off and new 4-inch flatwork. Its page does not give the driveway dimensions, so the example cannot honestly be converted into a precise area or used to price a driveway from a photograph.
Its value is the stated work boundary: removal through replacement. If another proposal only prices pouring onto a prepared site, those two totals are describing different jobs.
The driveway replacement cost guide explains that comparison. For other projects, see patio costs or garage, shed and shop slab costs.
Why two quotes can differ
The provider identifies thickness, reinforcement, ground conditions, access, removal and finish as variables in its project prices. These are concrete questions to resolve when totals differ.
For example, one patio proposal might retain existing paving and use a straightforward textured finish. Another might remove it, change the footprint and include a decorative system. Comparing their totals without those details would not tell you which is better value.
Use the quote-comparison guide to line up the scope. Ask how any uncertain preparation is allowed for and what happens if the proposed work changes. A clearly stated exclusion is more useful than an assumption that everything must be included.
Prepare a request for a measured quote
You do not need an engineering drawing or exact area calculation to start. A short description of the project, your city or ZIP code and a callback number is enough for an initial enquiry.
Photos and approximate dimensions can help later. Show what exists now, what you want to keep, any access restrictions and the result you want. Mention a building, heavy vehicle, hot tub or other special use so those requirements are not missed.
Burleson Concrete Quotes is an independent referral website; a provider may contact you to discuss the property and quote. The final scope and price come from that provider’s assessment and proposal.
