Driveways and extra parking
Start with the vehicle route, not only the square footage. A full driveway replacement changes more than a strip added for extra parking. The road connection may also need a separate scope from the private drive.
- Concrete driveways: new installation or replacement of an existing drive.
- Driveway extensions: widen a usable drive or add a defined parking area.
- Driveway aprons: address the transition between private pavement and the road.
- RV parking pads: discuss the actual vehicle, turning path and intended loading.
If a crack or uneven section is the reason for the request, the repair-or-replace guide helps frame the inspection. The site does not offer structural foundation repair or promise that resurfacing will solve movement below a slab.
Patios, paths and entrances
An outdoor seating area needs enough usable room after doors, furniture and access routes are considered. A path has a different job: connecting the places people walk without creating an awkward step at either end.
Choose concrete patios, walkways, or steps and porches. Describe what the new work must meet, such as a back door, existing patio or gate. That helps define the edges of the quote before anyone recommends a finish.

Slabs for garages, sheds and workshops
The purpose of a pad is more useful than a request for “some concrete.” A storage shed, garage, workshop and hot tub have different requirements. Bring the chosen structure or equipment information into the conversation before accepting a generic slab specification.
| Intended use | Start here |
|---|---|
| Garage or vehicle storage | Garage slabs |
| Garden equipment or storage shed | Shed pads |
| Workshop, barn or outbuilding | Shop and barn slabs |
| A chosen spa model | Hot-tub pads |
Building plans, equipment loads and property conditions may require design work beyond ordinary flatwork. A page about a pad is not approval to use it as a structural foundation.
Decorative concrete and removal
Stamped concrete and exposed aggregate change the finished surface. Compare them on the same footprint and preparation scope before comparing the price. The finish guide covers appearance, texture and care questions.
For old concrete, define the removal limits and what should remain: a cleared area, a prepared base, or a new slab. Small shops and managed properties can use the commercial flatwork guide to describe access and operating needs separately from residential work.
Concrete work that needs a different specialist
This enquiry route focuses on installed concrete surfaces. Structural foundation repair, engineering, pool construction, concrete supply alone, slab lifting and coatings-only work are outside that focus. A provider must confirm the work it is qualified and available to undertake.
Not sure which service fits? Describe the project in the quote form. You can explain the problem without selecting a construction method yourself.
